Please finish reading up to page 237 and for homework, complete your, Dictionary Detective booklet page 28.
Math Homework: Use the data sheet given about Ice-cream. Draw and label a double bar graph on the grid paper I've given you. Next, please create the double bar graph on your computer. Follow the instructions sheet carefully. You do not need to print it off.

Solve this 3 digit addition word problem
Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical gardens has 363 White Jade Orchid Trees and 197 Juniper bonsais. How many trees in all does this botanical garden shelter? Illustrate Using Base 10 Blocks.

Friday's Homework (November 15th)
Seungyoo, Sora and Haru were collecting football cards. Seungyoo collected 109. Sora collected 132 cards and Haru collected 79. How many soccer cards did they collect altogether?
Solve this word problem in 3 ways:
1. Expanded form
2. Place Value
3. Illustrate Using using Base 10 blocks
(You can use the Base 10 block manipulatives link on Math Google Classroom to help you)
Next, create a word problem of your own using 3 digit addition. Type it up on a Google document or write it in your math notebook if you have it home with you.
(Mathletics Activities have also been assigned to you).
SCIENCE: Tuesday, November 19th
Good morning boys and girls! Please watch the videos posted on Science Google classroom about how humans hurt the environment. Then fill out the Google Forms that was shared with you. This is not due today. Just take your time with it. Let's set the due date for Friday, November 22nd.
Monday, November 18th
You will beginning a food chain project when you return to school. Please be prepared and review the following information for your project.
What do I need to know for my project?......
What is a food chain and why is it important?
An example of a food chain with the parts labeled as producers or consumers.
Show/Explain what might happen if one member of the food chain was taken out of the community.
******Write the definitions of 4 vocabulary words that you know.****
Friday's Homework (November 15th)
Use Google Drawings to create a rain forest food chain. You should include the following members in your food chain.
They are:
1. a toucan (bird with a large beak)
2. green plants
3. boa constrictor (snake)
4. caterpillar
You must put them in the correct order. Label all parts of your food chain as a producer or a consumer. If a member is a consumer, tell if it is a herbivore, carnivore or omnivore. Use arrows to show the transfer of energy from one living thing to another.
(Remember, all food chains start with the sun)
At the bottom of your page tell what would happen to the food chain if all the toucans left the rainforest?

Use the links posted on Social Studies Google Classroom to complete the first page in your mineral resources chart. If you forgot to bring this sheet home, remember I have sent you another copy in your Gmail.
Visual ARTs: Monochromatic Drawing
Monochromatic: Artwork using only one color
Hue: means both a color and a shade or tint of a color. (Ex: dark blue, light blue)
Using the skills we practiced last class, draw a picture of your favorite animal in its habitat. Choose your favorite colour. Next, colour in your picture using ONLY that colour. Create different hues of your favorite colour by pressing gently and firmly with your crayon or pencil crayon.
HEALTH: Please review the notes and videos on Health Google Classroom. You must be able to tell me what nutrients are and give examples of them found in the food we eat and liquids we drink.
DRAMA: No homework.
